Last night Shirley, Cat, Blue and I got together via IM to do a role-play in aid of the conversation starting in yesterday’s, and continuing in today’s, posts. We thought it would just be your everyday, average, mundane Philosopher in Arms RP. It went like this:

Cat says:
I just read the teaser, who am I?
Chevenga says:
either Vaneesh or Mirko, you and Blue can arm wrassle over which
Cat says:
rock paper scissors?
Blue says:
I think I might be good at Vaneesh... Cat the conquering hero

If you had asked me a year ago, “Do you expect, as a result of your weblit activities, to be hosting the wedding of two of your readers who happen to be the lesbian couple within a three-person life-partnership that also includes a man, in the stone circle in your backyard?”, I would definitely have said, “No.”

I would have been wrong.

Look for this image to be available on a t-shirt sometime in the future. It was Blue's idea, and I rendered it because she was busy doing the colourized version of the duel cartoon (which will also be appearing soon on a website near you).

August hiati

Look for me to take some days off during August, as I mentioned previously. Shirley and I have Blue Coyote, Cat and Ravenrux visiting between this Thursday and Aug. 11, so I suspect I will post only sporadically on weekdays during that time, depending on what we are doing. I definitely will not post next Monday, Aug. 2, as that is a holiday.

Muskoka Novel Marathon 2010 - UPDATED DAY 4

Day Four: Monday, July 19

Ironically, this was probably the best day for me, and Shirley pretty much agrees for herself. I think for me it was that I no longer had to worry about how the Novel Marathon was going to go, at least three quarters of it. Few potential disasters remain on the last day. There were also no major interruptions such as readings or dinners.

I figure there aren't going to be a lot of comments here over the weekend anyway, except for the pernicious pharma-spams, as I'll be livewriting The Fool on the Mountain with those readers generous enough to donate $10 to the Muskoka Literacy Council tonight until Monday night. I'll return comment settings to normal when I start posting again.
