Bonus Valentine's Day post: Life is about love!

On this day dedicated to love, I wanted to share something on the topic beyond my regular writing, so decided to post things my spirit guides have told me about it. Real simple: I opened up the spirit-guide files, did a global search for “love” and picked out lines that work out of context. Or sort of work out of context… possibly posing interesting and/or healthy enigmas. Else they might fit your context just as well as or better than mine. I don’t claim to 100% understand all of them, and certainly not to have mastered all those which are practices. If you feel like discussing, hit the comments.

Warning: it is not all hearts and flowers. In the spirit of the day I have not included the most brutal truths my guides have given me about love… but some that might be confronting remain. Nothing comes unmixed.

What is life for? Not enduring, not grinning and bearing; enjoying, and enabling others to enjoy. Life is for making the world a better place, and relishing doing so. Life is about connecting with that which is important, within you and within out.

Life is about love!

Love allows you to know things you think you don’t or can’t know.

Love points out truth. Thus it can’t work on people who are truly wed to their delusions.

The cure is love.

Every major transformation of the spiritual growth type is a move from fear to love.

All relationships are, at bottom, relationships of souls. Accept love at the soul level.

Sex is not redemption. And love does not bring safety.

Make your intentions be not about proving anything to anyone, but about making your life, and the lives of others, genuinely better.

Any issue both spouses carry in common, if they do not address it consciously, will become an issue between them.

Love does not eschew obligation, but shoulders it lovingly and thus happily.

One person’s greatest good is never in conflict with another’s.

Everything wise, or merely human, to say about love has been said in popular songs.

The love of kids is total.

Excellence is about love.

This is the circle of love of all humanity. You belong in it. You are part of it. You are a member in good standing, because you give it yourself. Quit bucking, just be in it.

The secret is to find love within yourself. Not just for others, but for yourself. To love yourself enough to have the expectation of being loved by others.

Love seems like a desert when in fact it is a garden, full of riches for you.

Love doesn’t make deals.

Love forgives weakness, honourably gained.

Love is the natural state; that which obscures or hinders it is the illness.

You need never be without love, because there is love within you; you need only access it for yourself.

There is but one right use of power: that which comes from love.

Unhindered love instinctively and effortlessly sees the greatness in other people and loves them for it.

Beautiful.

I will be revisiting these words.

@GV, added another love line

Second from the bottom. I'm very curious to her your thoughts when you revisit, if you're willing to share them.

Sex is not redemption. And

Sex is not redemption. And love does not bring safety.

Ain't that one the truth?

You'd think my spirit guides

...wouldn't have to tell me that Eye-wink

(They are speaking, of course, to the viewpoint that doesn't distinguish true love from the sham scraps of love offered by the insincere and the abusive. I needed it at that point.)
